Liberty Youth Ranch, located in beautiful southwest Florida, is prayerfully looking for a Director of Residential Care to direct and supervise the residential care program and serve an important role in the Christian upbringing of children who are orphaned, abused, neglected or abandoned. Through leadership, the director oversees houseparents and provides children the opportunity to experience Christ's love in daily recreational, spiritual, and parental interactions that reinforce each child's significance in our family oriented community.
The Residential Care Director, under the direction of the President/CEO, administers and directs all aspects of the childcare program. This includes employing appropriate organizational and managerial skills to develop and implement an integrated philosophy and approach to residential childcare services centered on individual child needs. The Director administers the intake process, maintenance of clinical files, development of treatment plans, and all houseparent related training. Must be able to effectively speak at various functions promoting the Liberty Youth Ranch mission and vision.
Preferred Qualifications include a licensed professional Counselor, Social Worker or related residential child care experience along with at least 10 years of experience developing therapeutic or educational programs for children.
