The Florida Keys Children’s Shelter is looking for a mature couple who want to make a difference in a child’s life for a position that will be available January 2012. We have two emergency shelter homes in Key West, each with a set of house parents.
Live-in House Parents provide for the physical and emotional needs of up to six
children per home.  One home houses children ages infancy to age 10.  Our second home houses children ages 11 through 17.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to, medication administration, preparation of meals, housekeeping and providing transportation for residents with a company vehicle.

This position requires high energy and excellent organizational skills as well as computer skills to juggle schedules and meet parenting demands of a large family.
