 Lighthouse Boys Ranch, a ministry of Lighthouse Christian Camp, Inc. is accepting applications for house parents.

Lighthouse Boys Ranch provides permanent Christian homes for abandoned, neglected and orphaned boys. Children, ages 5-12, are identified through private referral; if accepted they are placed in our ranch homes with loving Christian parents. Children will stay in these homes until they are 18 and gainfully employed or in college.

Lighthouse Boys Ranch seeks employment of a mature, married Christian couple to serve as full-time parents for up to six (6) boys.

The ideal candidates will:
o Have a calling to help hurting children.
o Be experienced parents.
o Have a stable work history.
o Have a history of good money management and stewardship.

Together with their spouses, house parents are caregivers, role models and spiritual leaders. They nurture a family-like atmosphere and enjoy quality one-on-one and group time with the children to insure proper development. This includes overseeing the basics of the childrens daily living, including their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual care. House parents collaborate with teachers, administrators and counselors to facilitate success.

As time allows, the couple employed as parents in the Boys Ranch home will also have other duties in operation of a resident camp for needy children.

The Ranch and camp, located on 400 acres, bordering beautiful Center Hill Lake, has two (2) pools, full-size gym, miles of hiking trails, horseback riding, games areas and more.

We are seeking stable, committed couples/life partners to provide a natural home setting for our clients with emotional, behavioral, developmental and/or learning challenges in our agency homes in Southern and Central Maine. Relevant experience is helpful, but we will train. The couple must be nurturing and be able to provide firm limit-setting and behavioral management. Spurwink provides a team approach, training, supervision, and on-call support. The couple will live in our agency home. Unfortunately, most of our homes cannot accommodate couples who wish to bring their own children to live in the homes. H.S. Diploma/GED and clean driving history required. Spurwink provides a vehicle, a home, household expenses, health and dental benefits, and regularly scheduled respite and vacation time. Annual wages are approximately $70K - $75K per couple.

 Christian Children's Home for level one foster children has an opening for houseparents who are experienced and passionate about making a difference in a child's life.We need a married couple, without dependent children who will live in for seven days, then off a week, rotating weekly.Couple has their own personal bedroom with king bed and walk-in closet. Must be 21 years of age with high school/GED or higher degree. Houseparents are responsible for managing the home and all area associated with parenting children. Responsibilities include being a positive role model to residents, meeting their physical, spiritual, emotional and disciplinary needs. Meals will need to be prepared. Job Description:  

 Solid Rock Ranch provides a quality Christian home for children ages 5-18 who have been abused, abandoned, orphaned, neglected or their parents are in prison. We are currently looking for a comitted Christian couple to live in a brand new two story home on the 25 acre ranch located on the central coast of California 15 minutes from the ocean. We have a total of two homes, the first is occupied with housparents and 6 children. Houseparents take care of 6 children and are the caretakers of the ranch. We are looking for a couple who have succesfully raised children and want to serve the Lord in ministry. Houseparents must be physically able to perform ranch chores and be active with the children.
