 Happy Haven Children's Home is looking for a Christian couple with at least one year child care experience to work full time caring for troubled children between the ages of 5 and 17 in our residential group homes. Fathers are preferred to work off campus. If the father is a preacher we have over 100 Churches of Christ available in a 30 mile radius of our campus. Oaks Indian Mission was founded by the Moravian Church in 1801 in Spring Place, Georgia to serve the Cherokee people and moved with the Cherokee during the Trail of Tears (mid 1800's) to New Spring Place (Oaks), Oklahoma, and is now affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Today, the Mission offers Basic residential childcare to Native American children of all tribes. The Mission is seeking service-oriented direct care staff who are capable and committed to providing the quality care and positive role model that our children deserve and are so much in need of.

We currently have a House Parent position available for a girl's cottage having the capacity of 10 girls. A married couple who are able to provide our children with an intact family model is preferred (We would employ the female and the male would be in more of a supportive role and would be free to have full-time employment outside the Mission). The one employee would receive a salary and benefits including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and health insurance (life insurance and other cafeteria plan benefits are also available).
