Something to Think about

webmaster Apr 26 2006, 08:16 PM Post #1

I have discovered a new quote that I think is really good. Especially how it can relate to houseparents and other residential childcare workers.

"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal." ~Albert Pike (Thank you, Carl.)

Something to seriously consider as we do the things we do!!!

Very good quote! It reminds me of the one I use as a signiture in my e-mail here at work. It's by Charles Spurgeon.

A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helpedby you will remember you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.
