Requirements: Applicant must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or higher, excellent driving record, no criminal history and be able to pass a drug test. Experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Description:  

SailFuture's Change Agents provide love, support, and accountability to six youth living in a Group Home. Their primary responsibility is to build meaningful and impactful relationships with each youth and help steer them through their journey through foster care. Three Change Agents and a Program Director live with six youth in a 4,500+ square foot home located in St. Petersburg, FL. Several months a year, Change Agents participate in 45-day sailing journeys through the pristine waters of Central America and the Caribbean, leading youth through self growth, experiential learning challenges, and service projects.

Job responsibilities:
Work with mental health, education, and case management teams to ensure consistency across youth's individual treatment and case plans
Assist youth with job searches and applications
Teach youth basic life skills: laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc.
Home management: maintenance, landscaping, etc.
Grocery shopping and preparing meals
Daily room checks for cleanliness
Nightly bed checks
Administer and log medication
Schedule medical and dental appointments
Assist with general transportation needs
Additional Responsibilities
Be a fully integrated team player across all areas of the SailFuture continuum (sailing, school, job training, residential, and mental health)
Participate in SailFuture sailing journeys
Assist with instruction and behavior management at the SailFuture school
Assist with job training operations and vocational instruction
Work with the mental health, education, and residential teams to create individual treatment plans for all youth
Help implement treatment plans and coordinate with all other teams
Other responsibilities as determined by Program Director

Minimum Qualifications

Job Description:  

House of Hope York, PA is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of House Parent. We are a Girls' Group Home located in Glen Rock, PA.

Qualifications:
Experience working with youth between the ages of 12-18 is required. Applicant must be at least 30 years of age and possess at least a high school diploma or GED.

Please note the selection process is extensive and includes but not limited to: Interviews, Completion of an Employee Packet, Pass all Background Checks and Clearances (FBI, PA, Child abuse), Upon hire must pass Drug screening test, Mandated Reporter Certification, CPR and First Aid Certification, Medical clearance which includes a 50lb. lift test. Must have a Valid PA Driver's License which includes an acceptable driving record

Must have good communication skills and be able to work well with staff, family, and other community service providers. Must be able to engage in a positive manner with our youth and must be able to balance working independently and as a member of a team. Must have basic computer skills, be able to manage minimal paperwork, and be thorough with documentation. Must be organized and able to create and maintain a disciplined and structured environment.

Job Description:
House Parent will provide care for Resident, in all phases of domestic life; including spiritual growth, leisure time activities, personal hygiene, basic life skills, and encouraging positive attitudes. Flexible schedule required, need to be available both evenings and weekends. Program accommodates up to six teenage girls.

Job Duties:
Including, but not limited to sharing devotions and praying with girls, supervising and keeping girls in productive activities; cooking and teaching girls to make meals; supervising chores, transporting girls in ministry vehicle to functions, administering medications; shopping for groceries; supervising all activities; basic record keeping; creating and maintaining a disciplined, organized, and structured environment.

Job Description:  

 MBCH Children and Family Ministries, a subsidiary of Missouri Baptist Children's Home, is seeking individuals or couples with no dependent children to be live-in Houseparents providing direct care for youth at our residential foster care campus in Mt Vernon, MO (near Springfield, MO).

Live-in Residential Specialists work alternating weeks (7 days on / 7 days off) providing direct care for youth in our Therapeutic Group Home or our Transitional Living Program, teaching everyday life skills in a safe and loving environment while modeling Christian character and values.

Primary responsibilities include:
◾Direct care and supervision of youth
◾Client health & welfare needs – medical appointments, medications, health concerns
◾Client educational needs – school, money management, time management
◾Client spiritual needs - lead daily devotions, prayer, attend chapel services, church activities
◾Provide/coordinate client transportation – school, job, appointments, visits, activities
◾Documentation, reports, logs, meetings

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and exceptional benefits and the flexibility of a live-in schedule where you work 26 weeks of the year.

Note: The live-in Residential Specialist schedule (7 days on / 7 days off) is conducive to those applicants who do not live in the immediate area since the commute would be only once per week.

Requirements

◾Bachelor's degree in a social services field is preferred (High School diploma is required)
◾Related experience in youth residential direct care is highly desired
