Job Description: |
Rawhide is a faith-based residential treatment center that has been in the business
of helping at-risk youth for over 40 years. During these 40 years, the role of the Resident Instructor has been
an integral part in ministering to the youth that we serve.
The RI position is a live-in position designed specifically for single ministry-minded individuals.
As a Resident Instructor, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with the at-risk youth we serve to
help support their physical, emotional, and spiritual development by:
-providing a social and moral example to Rawhide youth while
demonstrating Christian Biblical values
-assisting and supporting the houseparents with the supervision of
the living unit by supervising the household activities and administering discipline within the existing guidelines
-encouraging the physical and social development of Rawhide youth by
initiating and participating in recreational activities such as ball games, family trips, and community service projects

Job Description: |
RESIDENTIAL YOUTH MANAGER (Live-in position working 3-4 days consecutively
on 24 hour shifts)
This is responsible direct care service dealing with foster children in dependency care with DCF.
The work involves responsibility for processing intakes and discharges; monitoring and documenting client
behaviors and activities; participating and assisting with educational, social and recreational activities;
providing a safe and therapeutic environment; interacting in a warm compassionate manner; de-escalating, and
restraining clients when necessary; promoting client achievement of service plan goals and objectives. The
work is perform in accordance with established policies and procedures, performs general cleaning responsibilities
such as laundry, mopping, garbage removal etc.
