Seeking a mature Christian single male or couple - no children
or pets - must be comfortable living on boats and working with adolescent males (15-17).
Experience with School of Tomorrow or ACE curriculum preferred. School is on site
with 15 students maximum in a classroom. Teacher is responsible for overseeing academic
program, enrolling, analyzing and determining placement of students; grade reporting,
maintaining discipline, transcript preparation; ensuring materials ordered and other
duties. Two part time aides available to assist teacher. School hours four days per
week. Houseparent duties other day(s) Must be physically fit, active and detail oriented,
this is a working program. Benefits include health insurance, living quarters aboard
sailboat or houseboat/powerboat with all amenities, dining on campus. Must have driver
license and excellent driving record, submit to background screening and reference
checks. Position is! primarily for teacher but if a couple applies will consider
abilities of both parties and adjust salary accordingly.
