Job Listing Policies & Prices
I am currently offering two types of Job listings:
A Deluxe Listing will include: 1. Up to a 600X125 pixel graphic. 2. An E-mail link to a contact person. 3. A hyper-link to the facility's website. 4. Up to a 200 word description.
A Standard Listing will include: 1. An E-mail link to a contact person. 2. A hyper-link to the facility's website. 3. Up to a 150 word description.
Descriptions submitted with word counts in excess of those allowed for the requested listing will be reduced to the limit of the listing by removing all words after the limit is reached. i.e. a standard listing submitted with a 185 word description would have the last 35 words removed when posting. Oversized job listings (listings with word counts higher than the limit) can be negotiated at a higher price.
Deluxe listings will be placed above Standard Listings in the order they are received.
Standard listings will be placed after Deluxe Listings in the order they are received.
Deluxe & Standard listings will be removed after the agreed upon and paid for period of time has expired, unless they are renewed prior to their expiration.
Listings will be posted upon receipt of payment. I accept either a company check, money order, or you may pay through 2CheckOut.com to speed processing.
I will contact you prior to removing your ad, at expiration to give you an opportunity to renew. I will invoice renewing accounts if needed and requested.
All job listings must be paid for before they will be posted. This includes listings from facilities that have posted in the past as well as facilities posting for the first time.
I will be happy to invoice facilities for listing renewals, however: payment must be received within 28 days of the invoice date. If payment is not received within 28 days of the invoice date, the job listing will be removed until payment is received. There will be no credit for the days the listing is not posted, and when payment is received, the listing is reposted but will lose any ranking it had previously acquired. Your ad will be placed in the ranking, as if it were a new job listing.
For those facilities that wish to expedite the payment process you can pay online through 2checkout.com using most credit cards or with an electronic check. For those facilities that wish, I can set you up for automatic renewal on a recurring payment through 2checkout. E-mail me for details.
I would like to state that I have had no problems with the vast majority of facilities, and apologize for any inconvenience, but I am having increasing problems in receiving timely payments.
If you purchase a six month or one year job listing, and fill the position prior to the expiration of your job listing, you may bank the ad for use at another time. i.e. If you purchase a six month ad, and fill the position after just two months. You may contact me to bank the ad, and I will remove it and store it for future use. In six months, you need more staff. Contact me and I will repost the ad for the remaining 4 months. HOWEVER, you will lose your ranking. Your ad will be placed in the ranking, as if it were a new job listing.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Job Listings will be charged at the following rates:
DELUXE LISTING:
- $110.00 for Three Months
- $198 for Six Months
- $330 for One Year
STANDARD LISTING:
- $60 for Three months
- $108 for Six Months
- $180 for One Year
I will accept job listings only from residential child care facilities - Children's Homes, Group Homes, Residential Treatment Facilities, Youth Ranches, Maternity Homes, etc.

My site is growing every month and I currently receive over 35,000 visitors a month. Most facilities are having an excellent response from their job listing with The Houseparent Network. There is a good chance that you will also, however I CANNOT offer any guaranteed response to your job listing.
