Houseparent responsibilities are varied and somewhat dependent upon which campus and to which cottage the couple is assigned. The Baptist Children's Village serves children that are privately placed and those referred by the Mississippi Child Protective Services. Each cottage has either all girls or all boys and a maximum capacity for 8-10 residents. Residents range in age from 1 to 20 years of age.
